Robert Tyler

Robert has been instrumental in the furtherance of religious liberty and other constitutional liberties through the education of officials and the prosecution of numerous federal lawsuits. In 2005, he followed his passion and started Advocates for Faith & Freedom, a nonprofit law firm dedicated to the protection of constitutional liberties, with a focus on faith-based liberties founded in the Free Speech Clause and the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment.
Robert was also named as one the Nation’s most influential lawyers in Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America. He has been featured in American Lawyer and The Daily Journal, two prominent trade magazines. On many occasions, Robert has been called on to comment and be interviewed by local, national, and international media outlets for various cases he has fought on a national level. He has been a featured television and radio guest on numerous national and international media programs.
Since passing the California Bar in 1995, Robert has practiced business, real estate, and constitutional law. Robert received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, in 1990. Robert has spent the last twenty-five years as the managing partner of a private law firm in Southern California, now known as Tyler Law, LLP. Robert has also served as an adjunct professor for the University of Redlands where he taught business law for its MBA program.
