Kelly Chang Rickert

Legal Counsel

As a first generation immigrant from Taiwan, Kelly was 9 years old when she took a naturalization oath to support and defend the Constitution.  She is committed to defending God-given freedoms people enjoy in America.

Kelly has been practicing law since 2000, licensed in California and Texas.  (JD, University of San Diego School of Law, BA, English Literature, UCLA).  She is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Family Law Specialist.  Kelly routinely appears as a legal expert on television/radio, and has published several books (Amazon #1best‑sellers in the Children’s Marriage and Divorce Books category.)

Kelly is also an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Law School, where she teaches Family Law, Community Property, Professional Responsibility, and Legal Research and Writing.  She is a member of the Christian Legal Society and an Allied Attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom; and a licensed real estate broker and notary. 

Every day she is comforted by Scripture, and enjoys studying Apologetics with her husband, and worshipping with her daughters.  Kelly has played the piano since age 3.  She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese and conversant in French, and a prayer warrior!
