Advocates for Faith & Freedom, through the support of Tyler & Bursch, LLP, filed an appellate brief (legal appeal) last week in our law suit against Vimeo on behalf of Pastor Jim Domen and Church United, a religious non-profit organization dedicated to helping pastors and churches respond to cultural issues in their communities.

As you may know, Advocates President, Robert Tyler wrote a Declaration of Essentiality declaring that churches are “essential” and over 1,500 pastors signed it, stating that they will appropriately re-open their churches no later than May 31 — Pentecost Sunday.

One of the areas we have been working hard on is equipping and supporting churches that have a conviction that they are required to physically gather together in the same location. Our goal has been to help them assemble for church service together, safely and with the cooperation of local governments.
