Bethany Onishenko
Legal Counsel
Prior to law school, Bethany attended John Brown University, where she earned a degree in political science and competed on the women’s volleyball team. Bethany obtained her law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. While at the U of A, Bethany served as a graduate teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and received multiple Dean’s List Awards. In addition, she was a member of the school’s national moot court team. Bethany is also a credited research assistant in Danielle Weatherby’s article titled: Student Discipline and the Active Avoidance Doctrine, 54 U.C. Davis Law Review 491.
Bethany has always had a heart for service and to protect the God-given freedoms and value of all people. This prompted Bethany to intern for a U.S. Representative, spend a semester studying and working at a faith-based litigation firm in Washington, D.C., defend foster children and those affected by domestic violence in various capacities throughout law school, and share the gospel around the globe.
In her spare time, Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and big Russian family, coaching youth volleyball, and flipping houses with her husband!
