Deborah Dewart
Of Counsel
Deborah, like her namesake in the Book of Judges, has a passion for the law of the Lord. Deborah holds a Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Seminary Escondido, and she graduated magna cum laude from Chapman School of Law. Deborah’s legal work is focused on religious liberty, sanctity of life, free speech, and other constitutional rights. She is a member of the Christian Legal Society and one of many “allied” attorneys serving alongside Alliance Defending Freedom. A true “friend of the court,” Deborah has written dozens of amicus briefs, including many for the U.S. Supreme Court. She is admitted to the bars of California, North Carolina, the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeal.
In addition to her legal work, Deborah enjoys doing ministry as a ventriloquist-songwriter, and teaching young children the truths of the Bible through fun songs, books, and an adorable singing rabbit, “Cherry the Resurrection Rabbit” (www.resurrectionrabbit.com).
