Nada N. Higuera

Since joining Advocates in 2014, Nada has loved the ability to advocate for her clients and is passionate about the people she serves. She is both compassionate and level-headed while using her expertise to assist her clients to the greatest extent possible. She enjoys thinking creatively to achieve the best results for her clients while maintaining a cost-effective approach. While at Advocates, Nada helped successfully vindicate a client’s religious liberties in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

She has also been featured on the cover of Focus on the Family magazine for her victory in overturning the anti-life and unconstitutional, Reproductive Fact Act in California. On numerous occasions, Nada has been interviewed by local, national, and international media outlets. She has been a television guest on CNN, NBC, Fox and CBN. In law school, Nada was a writer and staff editor for the Global Business & Development Law Journal. Nada also received two CALI awards for academic excellence for legal writing and remedies. Currently, Nada's primary focus is on religious freedom litigation.

Nada is a proud first-generation Palestinian-American and is the youngest of 8 daughters. Nada and her husband, Grant, have two beautiful children, Nyla and Malik.
