Abortion activists are no longer saying that abortion should be “safe, legal and rare”. Their disingenuous “access to women’s reproductive rights” movement is really more about abortion than women’s health.
In fact, taxpayer funded Planned Parenthood clinics aborted more babies in 2018 than it did in the past five years. According to its own report, it performed a total of 332,757 abortions — 11,373 more than the previous year. But, that is not enough for them.
As Christians, we cannot and must not restrain our outrage, disgust and grief over the horrific legalization and heartbreaking acceptance of unrestricted late term abortion and in some cases, infanticide.
And now, California’s lawmakers want to make eliminating life in the womb even easier for students on college campuses. SB 24, the “College Right To Access Act”, would require all CSU and UC campuses to offer medication for abortions.
But, there is some encouraging news: The movie, “Unplanned”, the true story about former Planned Parenthood director, Abby Johnson opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, March 29. We encourage you to see this movie that exposes the truth about the abortion industry to a nation that needs to know.
And, even more good news, nationally: Under the Trump administration, the FDA is cracking down on foreign abortion groups mailing misbranded and unapproved abortion drugs to the U.S. The administration is also dedicated to making sure that U.S. foreign AID dollars do not go to organizations that promote or lobby for abortions abroad.
What Advocates is doing: After our free speech victory in the courts, defeating the “Reproductive Fact Act”, our pro-life attorney, Nada Higuera has been speaking at pregnancy resource center banquets, like Riverside Life Services (shown below), and across the state, helping to raise, not only awareness, but the necessary funds to support these life affirming organizations.
